After a late yesterday in clouds, Colima was discovered in the early hours this morning of 10 July.
The overflow of the dome generate incandescent materials falls, primarily on the north and southwest sectors, the most important drive less than 2 km from the crater.
The Protección Civil of Colima believes that the most probable evolutionary scenario is a continued growth of the lava dome in the weeks and months, with continued collapses on the above sectors. A probability of lava flow formation is discussed and lahars in the ravines around the volcano during periods of rain and tropical cyclones.
