The JMA raised the level of Asama volcano at 2 out of 5, on 11 June, which establishes a no-go zone of 2 km around the crater. Sulphur dioxide levels have increased from 500 to 1700 tons / day.

In Sinabung, partial collapse of the dome-lobe in continued growth generate pyroclastic flows on the south-southeast area of the volcano. Since Wednesday, more than 50 episodes of ash emissions were counted (Tech Times). The number of earthquakes associated with the collapses ("guguran" on the diagram of the VSI) is growing and they are more energetic.

In relation with rainfall conditions, residents near rivers should remain in alert to the risks of lahars. Recommendations on wearing masks, securing of drinking water, and cleaning of roofs are recalled.

The level is set by the VSI to Awas / IV since 02/06/2015

In Karangetang, on Siau Island / North Sulawesi continued an outpouring of lava at the summit vent and incandescent avalanches. The thermal anomaly is noted by Mirova on 9 and 11 June.

As a reminder, strombolian activity from early May and viscous lava emission was caused of collapses of blocs, accompanied by pyroclastic flows that destroyed houses in the village of Kora Kora and inundated with ash the northern flank of the volcano
