Etna - explosive activity at the NSEC

After ten days of relative calm , the INGV webcams recorded an emission of ash on November 5, 2013 at 16:43 GMT , at the new crater southeast, and was preceded by a brief glow and accompanied by a strong signal on the seismograms (see below) . Bad weather prevented the observation of the summit thereafter.

November 6 , new ashy explosions accompanied by small plumes more or less loaded in ash, highly inclined and scattered by the winds, shook the NSEC .
The explosions began at about 12:51 LT to continue in the afternoon.
